A 35-year-old told police in Vienna-Favoriten on Tuesday that he had been attacked with a knife by his ex-girlfriend. The woman was arrested and the man filed a report.
A 35-year-old went to a police station in Vienna-Favoriten around noon on Tuesday, where he stated that his ex-partner had injured him in the neck with a knife.
As a result of further investigation and interrogations, the 34-year-old was eventually arrested and taken to a prison on suspicion of attempted murder, property damage, serious coercion and dangerous threats.
Interim removal
The 35-year-old man was reported on suspicion of bodily harm, dangerous threats and attempted child abduction, but remained on the run.
Because he had visited the home of his ex-partner and their one-year-old son despite the ban, he was also reported for violating a ban.
The one-year-old son was transferred to the care of the relevant authorities. The 34-year-old man received medical attention while further investigations are underway.
