Just a few minutes after the international match against Turkey, a massive brawl broke out in Vienna’s Praterstern on Tuesday. According to the police, 17 perpetrators are currently known, but whether there were more remains to be investigated. Four men had to be taken to hospital.
The Austrian national team’s victory may have upset one or two fans on Tuesday: About 17 people got into a fight at the Praterstern grounds around 10:55 p.m.

When police arrived, they found a 22-year-old man lying on the ground with a head wound. Another man (32) said he was injured in the face when pepper spray was used. A total of five people were injured in the brawl; four of them even had to go to hospital. Further investigations are underway.
