Shortly before Easter, the police in St. Kanzian arrested a 23-year-old from the Völkermarkt district. The young man had already been guilty of much.
On Good Friday around 10.45 am, the police detective team in St. Kanzian seized a car with stolen license plates. Only the investigation conducted showed that the alleged thief – a 23-year-old man from the Völkermarkt district – had not only stolen the license plates.
“The suspect is accused of three taxi frauds, several drug-related crimes in the St. Kanzian area, a fuel fraud and a theft in the Klagenfurt area,” officials said. During the interviews it turned out that the found car was also stolen. It was actually owned by a 33 year old from Klagenfurt. The car, the drug paraphernalia found inside and the two license plates were seized by police.

“The suspect confessed to most of the crimes – he is also reported to the Völkermarkt district administration for various administrative violations, such as driving a car without a driver’s license, driving a vehicle not registered for traffic and other matters,” explains a police officer goes to 23 year olds.
