This accident could have been much worse: On Friday morning, a 20-year-old fell 50 meters down a steep slope in Leins (Tyrol) with his tractor and rolled over several times.
The accident happened on Friday around 11:20 am in Leins in Arzl im Pitztal. The 20-year-old local resident was spreading manure on a steep field with the tractor. The tugboat suddenly began to skid and moved about 50 meters towards the valley. The towing vehicle veered sideways and rolled over twice before coming to a stop.
Lenker was able to free himself
The driver was able to free himself from the wreckage of the vehicle and make an emergency call. After initial treatment on site, he was flown to the hospital in Zams, which he was able to leave at the beginning of the afternoon – the 20-year-old was only slightly injured.
However, his tugboat was severely damaged. The Leins volunteer fire brigade had to rescue him.
