Bloody act in Germany – doctor murdered: revenge for psychiatric report?

Date:

Dr. Rainer G., the German doctor who was stabbed to death by a former patient on Monday evening, was considered a respected psychiatrist. He repeatedly convicted criminals in court, as he himself now had to deal with. It is now being determined whether the motive was revenge for a psychiatric report.

According to information from the newspaper ‘Bild’, the attacker was with Dr. Rainer G. pending. The doctor would have drawn up a psychiatric report. Why a bloody attack took place so many years later and whether it was possibly an act of revenge is now the subject of investigation by the Rosenheim police.

Fatal attack with a kitchen knife
In any case, it is clear that Dominik S. attacked the doctor with a kitchen knife. He may have deliberately ambushed the doctor and attacked him immediately after work on the hospital grounds in Wasserburg. While first aiders were still trying to save the psychiatrist, Dominik S. was arrested by a police patrol who happened to be there.

Attacker not known to police
The 40-year-old had never appeared before the police and did not resist arrest. Dominik S. was admitted to a psychiatric hospital in Lower Bavaria.
