Serious traffic accident on Friday evening in Zwettl (Lower Austria). A moped rider lost control of his two-wheeler after a bend and fell ten meters over an embankment.
Around 8 p.m., the Florianis from the fire brigade of the city of Zwettl were alerted to a serious accident involving a two-wheeler. A moped driver lost control of his vehicle after a bend and broke through a railing. He fell about ten meters down an embankment. A tree stopped the falling moped and the handlebars were thrown down several meters further.

Paramedics immediately treated the injured man. Meanwhile, the fire brigade has secured the two-wheeler to prevent it from falling on the driver involved in the accident. The man was transported to St. Pölten University Hospital by rescue helicopter.
