Attack on Israel – The US does not want an escalation or war with Iran

Date:

Following the massive Iranian drone and missile attack on Israel, the war cabinet met on Sunday afternoon to discuss how to proceed. The US reiterated that it does not want “escalation” or “war” with Iran.

“We don’t want an escalation. “We are not looking for a major war with Iran,” White House National Security Council spokesman John Kirby told NBC on Sunday.

Iran had previously attacked Israel directly on a large scale for the first time; according to Israeli information, almost all 300 drones and missiles fired were repelled. The Israeli army received support from the US, Great Britain, France and Jordan.

Israel: Iran must pay the price for the attack
Benny Gantz, member of Israel’s war cabinet, hopes to form a regional coalition against the Iranian threat. They will ensure that Iran pays the price for its attack on Israel “as and when it suits us,” Gantz announced on Sunday.

“Iran is a global problem, a regional challenge and also a threat to Israel,” Gantz explains. The world was confronted with this danger together with Israel on Sunday evening. This is a strategic success for Israel. Israel has “proven itself to be an anchor of military and technological strength and an anchor of security in the Middle East.”
