Navarra, on the other hand, has lost 232 contributors of foreign origin in the past month.
Social security added 1,091 foreign branches in the Basque Country in March, an increase of 1.9% compared to February. Navarra’s Foral community, in turn, has followed the opposite path, losing 232 contributors of foreign origin (-0.65%).
According to data published on Tuesday by the Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration, both communities recorded year-on-year increases, with 7,676 more foreign branches in the Basque Autonomous Community (CAV), 9.03% more and 2,183 more. in Navarra (6.52%), always compared to March 2023.
A total of 92,693 persons of foreign origin contributed to social security in the BAC at the end of the first quarter of the year; in Navarre there were 35,670 people.
A large majority (approximately 80%) per regime belongs to the General regimenwhile the second largest group of contributors (between 16 and 18%) are self-employed, followed by homeworkers.
The majority of foreign people who are affiliated with social security are Gentlemen (51,288 and 20,793 in the BAC and Navarre respectively) compared to 41,405 and 14,877 in both communities.
By means of originin both cases the majority come from non-European countries, and among the remaining nationalities those from Romania, China and Morocco. Among people from EU countries Portugal, Italy or Germany They are the most numerous.
In the Spanish state, social security added an average of 62,573 foreign members in March, 2.3% more than the previous month. This means that the third month of the year ended with 2,734,119 migrant workers registered in the system, a new record high.
