At the Linz train station, a police duo brings a motionless woman back to life

Date:

Patrick and Sebastian keep a close eye on traffic. On Wednesday they saved the life of a Linz woman (47) who lay motionless on the platform of the Pichling train station – with Defi and cardiac massage.

Around 9:54 a.m. on Wednesday, the State Transport Department (LVA) patrol was in the Linz city area. The two officers heard a radio message about a motionless person at the Linz-Pichling train station.

Defibrillator and Board
At that moment, Patrick and his colleague Sebastian had the newly purchased defibrillator with them and immediately drove to the train station. When they arrived on the platform, they found a 47-year-old woman from Linz lying motionless on the ground. Patrick could not detect any breathing and therefore immediately started CPR. In the meantime, the Defi was prepared and due to the first pressure on the chest, the woman from Linz showed signs of life again.

The emergency doctor took over
The police carried out basic measures until the emergency doctor arrived. This meant that the patient could be transferred to the emergency medical service for primary care.
