A 69-year-old woman from Pinzgau was walking in Uttendorf on Wednesday afternoon when a dog suddenly jumped on her and bit her. The woman had to be taken to hospital with injuries.
The local woman went for a walk on a community street in Uttendorf on Wednesday afternoon. As she passed a wooden hut, a dog jumped out of the open hut into the street and immediately attacked the 69-year-old. The animal bit the woman in the thigh, causing her to fall and hit the back of her head on the asphalt.
The 30-year-old dog owner immediately came to the woman’s aid and separated his pet from the victim. The 69-year-old had to be taken to the hospital in Zell am See with injuries of an unknown nature. The local dog owner took the dog to a vet for the necessary examination.
