A man who was apparently drunk and shouting injured several police officers at Vienna’s main station on Saturday evening. He even broke someone’s metacarpal. Now he wouldn’t remember the crime.
Police officers were called to Vienna’s main station around 1 a.m. on the night of Friday to Saturday because of a drunk and noisy man.
However, the 33-year-old troublemaker was not happy to see the officers and immediately started insulting them. Despite repeated requests to stop his aggressive behavior, he did not stop and was therefore temporarily arrested. But the arrest also did not go down well with the man. He defended himself against this with kicks, which injured two police officers.
Amnesia after the crime?
At the stop, the man continued his violent behavior and injured an officer who tried to take him to the stop. As a result, the police officer suffered a fracture in his metacarpal.
All three injured officers were unable to continue their duties. During questioning, the 33-year-old said he could not remember anything. The man was taken to prison on the orders of the Vienna public prosecutor’s office.
