A 44-year-old panicked completely at a metro station in Vienna’s Favoriten district on Wednesday. During a fight with a 39-year-old, the attacker fell onto the rails. He escaped with minor injuries, but then attacked two paramedics from the Vienna Professional Rescue Service. He had been arrested.
Around 11:30 am, the Austrian suddenly attacked the 39-year-old German on the platform of the Alaudagasse metro station. He hit the man with his fists and insulted him. The 39-year-old then pushed the attacker away, causing the 44-year-old to fall onto the tracks.
Passers-by, police officers and rescue workers were insulted
He was slightly injured and was able to climb back onto the platform. Police arrived on the scene to clarify the incident. However, the 44-year-old was extremely aggressive towards the officers and also insulted and threatened passers-by and rescue workers.
During the first aid of the Vienna professional rescue team, he attacked and injured two paramedics. As a result, the 44-year-old could not receive proper care. He was temporarily arrested.
