Spital am Semmering – Fire at gas station: 29-year-old seriously injured

For unknown reasons, a fire broke out at a gas station in Spital am Semmering on Thursday afternoon. It spread to the clothing of a 29-year-old man, who was seriously injured. He was flown to Vienna General Hospital.

What was fatal: The clothes of a 29-year-old who was at the gas station at the time started to burn. A 25-year-old and a 21-year-old rushed to help. The rescue team eventually had to take him by helicopter to Vienna General Hospital with serious injuries. The cause of the fire is now being investigated.
