Two previously unknown perpetrators allegedly robbed a young man in Vienna-Penzing on Friday afternoon with a weapon drawn and a death threat. According to police, the 19-year-old’s wallet and a double-digit amount of money were forcibly stolen on Saturday.
The stolen amount is probably between 50 and 70 euros. During the robbery, one of the perpetrators allegedly held a firearm in his hand as a threat. The two men then fled.
Witnesses came to Mann’s aid
Witnesses heard the victim’s cries for help in Keißlergasse around 4:25 p.m. All immediate search measures that were quickly deployed have so far been unsuccessful. The Vienna State Criminal Investigation Department, West department, is in charge of further investigation.
