On Sunday around 10:10 am there was an argument between two former business partners in a pizzeria in Ried im Innkreis. The 47-year-old stabbed his ex-partner (44) several times with a flat screwdriver. Three witnesses intervened and separated the two.
The victim – from Turkey – was seriously injured as a result of the crime and was taken to the Ried im Innkreis hospital after receiving first aid from the rescue team and the emergency doctor. He underwent emergency surgery there and is currently in stable condition in intensive care.
It was about money
The perpetrator, who was still present at the crime scene, a fellow countryman of the victim, was arrested and the murder weapon was seized. According to the police, the motive for the dispute between the two former business partners – they ran a restaurant together in Ried im Innkreis – was probably financial disputes or alleged outstanding claims between them from their joint business relationship.
