An unknown man rioted in Eisenstadt on Thursday evening by throwing paving stones onto the road and then towards police officers. The man managed to escape, but could not be found despite the use of an assistance dog and a drone.
The police were deployed on Thursday evening because passers-by saw a man throwing paving stones around. When police arrived, he threw the rocks at the vehicles and officers who intervened.
The suspect is still at large
The suspect then fled. He ran into the castle park and disappeared without a trace. Even a service dog and a drone could not locate the man.
No injuries from stone throwing
Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. There was also no damage to the vehicles.
The man was described as approximately 6 feet tall with stubble and a bald head. He was wearing a black T-shirt, shorts and white sneakers.
