A driver who drove her car on Bödelestrasse in Vorarlberg on Sunday evening had a breakdown. Strangers had stretched a nylon cord across the road and the woman had an accident.
That could have been much worse: On Sunday evening a 25-year-old woman drove her car on the L 48 (Bödelestrasse) towards Schwarzenberg. At kilometer 13, the driver suddenly heard a loud bang and immediately stopped her car.
Car severely damaged by cord
At the scene, the driver saw that a nylon cord had been stretched over the L48. Initial police investigation showed that the nylon cord was attached to the existing fence posts. The 25-year-old was not injured. However, the woman’s car was seriously damaged by hitting the cord.
The farmer could have stretched the rope
The executive currently believes that the tightrope has been set to drive cattle across the road. The evening before there was a cattle show in Schwarzenberg. Possibly a farmer was driving his animals home on the road late in the evening. Witnesses with information about the cord are asked to contact the Egg Police Department.
