On Tuesday night, police in the city of Klagenfurt were able to detain two speeders who were driving faster than 90 km/h – instead of the speed limit of 50 km/h.
The officers carried out speed checks on Rosentaler Strasse in Klagenfurt on Tuesday night from 11:30 p.m. to just after midnight. The officers caught two drivers who were clearly driving too fast.
Driver’s license removed
Both a 55-year-old woman from Klagenfurt and a 20-year-old Croat who lives in the provincial capital were driving more than 90 km/h on the speedometer. “A speed limit of 50 km/h is allowed in the area,” said a police officer.
The driver’s licenses have been taken from the two drivers for the time being.
