Projectile to Body – Cat was shot twice in one night

Date:

Who does something like that? In the Innviertel they are looking for an animal hater. It is said that a tomcat on the loose was shot twice in one night. A veterinarian was able to surgically remove a projectile. This must clearly be a bullet from an air rifle.

The police are conducting intensive investigations into animal abuse, after which a free-roaming tomcat was shot twice in the Handenberg area between Tuesday evening (7 p.m.) and Wednesday morning (6 a.m.). On Wednesday, the 76-year-old cat owner discovered that his cat could no longer walk properly. As the animal’s condition worsened the next day, the cat owner went to a veterinary clinic.

Air gun used
X-rays showed the cat had a bullet and a bullet. A projectile was surgically removed by the attending veterinarian and seized by police. It is a pointed bullet and clearly comes from an air pistol. The cat was seriously injured as a result of the crime.

Because the crime scene is a residential area, there may be witnesses to the crime. They are requested to contact the Eggelsberg police station on 059133-4205.
