“Individual clues” – Robbery at a gas station: Duo remains in hiding

After the armed robbery of a gas station last Saturday in Völs near Innsbruck, there is still no trace of the two perpetrators. According to researchers, only a few tips have been received so far, but these have not yet led to a successful search. The police are now hoping for more.

Employees were forced into the warehouse
The masked men threatened the shocked young woman with a gun, pushed her into the drinks warehouse and made it very clear what they wanted: cash!

The raid was suddenly aborted
Did things get too hot for the two perpetrators, who spoke in the Innsbruck dialect? What happened as a result is still a mystery to researchers. “In the drinks warehouse, the perpetrators suddenly called off the attack for an unknown reason.” They fled without loot.

Researchers are hoping for more clues
An alarm search was unsuccessful. The duo went into hiding. Is there a clue now? “No, the perpetrators are still on the run,” said lead investigator Katja Tersch on Tuesday when asked by “Krone”.

Although “individual tips” have been and are being processed, there is nothing concrete yet, according to the Tyrolean LKA boss, who hopes for further clues or suspicious perceptions.

The perpetrator descriptions:

  • Perpetrator 1: About 1.7 meters tall, wearing a dark hooded top, dark trousers, a dark cap and gloves. He was wearing white-soled shoes and carrying a shoulder bag. He was masked with a light-colored face mask with cutouts around his eyes. Armed with a silver pistol.
  • Perpetrator 2: About 1.8 meters high. He was wearing a dark down jacket with a hood, cargo pants with side pockets on the thighs, dark gloves and light-colored sneakers. Masked with a dark balaclava.
