In about a month’s time, Europe’s largest open-air festival will take place again in Vienna for three days – as always with free admission. The “Krone” knows who will rock the Danube Island Festival this year.
This year, the Donauinselfest audience can look forward to around 1,000 national and international artists, 17 themed islands, 14 stages and 700 hours of programming on the 4.5 kilometer long festival site. The kick-off this year is the big inclusion concert The BossHoss unplugged Duo feat. Sascha and Alecmoderated by Paralympic swimmer and ORF presenter Andreas Onea.
The heart of the Donauinselfest is the “Krone Area”, where the festival stage Ö3 is also located. On the big one Wien Energie/radio fm4/Radio Wien/HITRADIO Ö3 Festbühne This year there is also a colorful mix of music: the Austropop legend is also there Wolfgang Ambros and the No. 1 from the Vienna Forest, which is celebrating its tenth performance at the Donauinselfest this year.
