Terms and Conditions Experiment – Why it’s worth reading the fine print

Date:

“Read and accepted” – anyone who regularly surfs the Internet knows this phrase all too well. In fact, very few users actually read what’s in the fine print. Reading it may be worth it, as a current experiment shows.

According to the latest Eurobarometer figures from the European Commission from 2016, less than 41 percent in this country read the small print. Austria is still in the middle of the EU. In the Netherlands, at the top of the rankings, 68 percent of respondents admitted to ignoring terms and conditions and other conditions – which is usually to their own detriment, but in exceptional cases also has some advantages, such as an experiment in Britain’s shows.
