Following the brutal attack by an armed man on the Jackpot Casino in Vienna in early April, police have now published a mugshot of the suspect. We are looking for a slim man, approximately 1.70 meters to 1.80 meters tall. The police have also offered a reward of 3,000 euros for relevant information.
The man seen in the photos, which were published by the Vienna police, is suspected of robbing the casino on April 7 this year, shortly before 1 p.m. Dramatic scenes occurred during the crime: the unknown man allegedly pulled out a gun and threatened the employees with it. He managed to escape with the loot of more than 100,000 euros.
Robber not yet caught
To date, despite extensive search efforts, the man has not been arrested by the police. The Vienna State Criminal Investigation Department was immediately charged with the investigation.
Now the LPD Vienna announced on Wednesday: “A monetary reward of 3,000 euros has been offered for relevant information leading to the arrest of the perpetrator.” Witnesses who spotted the suspect (see photo) during or after his escape are requested to contact the police.
Had a black gun with him
The suspected perpetrator is said to be a man with a slim build and a height of approximately 1.70 to 1.80 meters. At the time of the crime, the suspect was wearing dark pants, a dark jacket and a dark baseball cap. He also had a black pistol with him.
