Shortly before midnight, a loud argument took place in Vienna-Liesing on Wednesday between a man (46) and his 25-year-old girlfriend. A passerby called the police emergency number, after which the 46-year-old suddenly pulled out a knife.
Because the argument between the couple escalated so much, a passerby decided to call the police on Wednesday evening. During the argument, the 46-year-old allegedly pulled a knife and threatened her with it.
Friend (46) was arrested
When officers arrived on the scene, the situation between the couple calmed down. The man was temporarily arrested on suspicion of making dangerous threats. He is not allowed to approach his partner or his partner’s apartment. He was also not allowed to carry weapons.
The woman suffered minor injuries in the incident and ultimately had to be taken to hospital by emergency services.
