The accident happened on Tuesday around 2 p.m. at a construction site in Freistadt in the Mühlviertel. The worker (53) from the Wolfsberg district in Carinthia wanted to saw planks with the chainsaw, but slipped, according to the police.
As a result, the 53-year-old cut his leg with the chainsaw. The Carinthian was immediately taken to the Freistadt clinic.
