According to a study by the Institute for Demoscopy and Data Analysis (IFDD), a partnership between the FPÖ and ÖVP is currently the most desired coalition for the upcoming National Council elections. But even this variant convinced only 19 percent of the 1,003 respondents. However, there is more agreement on what issues the election will decide. Which substantive questions determine your voting decision?
For about two-thirds of respondents, the unresolved questions about social security will be a deciding factor in the next election. The topic block ‘Asylum and Migration’ comes in second place and plays an important role for 57 percent.
Other topics were clearly rejected
The topics ‘climate and environmental protection’ and ‘equal opportunities and education’ (38 and 27 percent respectively) are only decisive for a relatively small group of voters.
Which issues play a role in your voting decision? Which party do you trust to handle this effectively? Are there topics that you feel do not receive enough attention? We look forward to your comments!
