During the Corona Pandemic, a large customer broke away, plus drops of sales and increased wage and material cost- too much for the Innviertel Logistics Company Stranyzerker. After a major loss of employees in 2022, the company now had to register bankruptcy.
23 employees and 40 creditors are affected by the bankruptcy. The debt of the logistics company of Eberschwang has added more than four million euros. A renovation process without self -administration was opened at the Ried Regional Court. “The affected creditors are offered a renovation plan of 20 percent to be paid within two years,” reports Petra Wögerbauer of the Credit Protection Association of 1870.
Different locations
Stranzinger Logistics are active in the field of goods logistics, planning and implementation of packaging solutions and in storage. The company, founded in 2014, has various locations, in addition to the head office in Eberschwang, a permanent establishment in the city of Innkreis and a storage space in Brunnenthal.
Restructuring planned
Already in 2022 the status of employees was drastically reduced from 210 to 44. Now the bankruptcy follows. Reasons and increased wage and material costs are cited as reasons. Moreover, a large customer broke away as a result of the Corona crisis. The company had also tried to maintain liquidity with stock exchanges, shareholders loans and an AWS Corona loan, without success.
Restructuring measures are planned for the insolvency contract. As a result, Stranzinger Logistics must be continued in a stripped version.
