Around 5 p.m., the Lassee, Schönfeld and Untersiebenbrunn fire brigades were called to a vehicle fire in Lassee. A car was on fire in a garage.
Three people in hospital
A respiratory protection team quickly equipped themselves in the tank fire truck when it arrived on scene. Several residents tried to extinguish the fire and were able to prevent worse. However, three people with smoke poisoning had to be taken to hospital by the Red Cross Lassee, accompanied by the emergency doctor and district operations manager of the RK.
The fire brigade carried out the extinguishing work and checked the seat of the fire and the immediate surroundings using thermal imaging cameras. “In the end, the combustion engine car, and not an electric vehicle, was transported out of the garage using the maneuvering rollers and the smoke was removed using the pressure fan,” reports the FF Lassee.
The vehicle fire occurred near a local supplier in Lassee and a local diversion was put in place.
