Italy is puzzled over the death of entrepreneur Angelo Onorato, husband of the Italian MEP and vice-chairman of the small party Democrazia Cristiana, Francesca Donato.
The 54-year-old architect was found dead in his car in Palermo on Saturday afternoon, in a street parallel to the Palermo – Mazara del Vallo highway, where there are warehouses, businesses and some residential buildings.
Autopsy ordered
The man was wearing a plastic band around his neck and blood stains were found on his shirt. According to the coroner’s initial examination of the body, the businessman was said to have suffocated.
