A mother had almost 1.7 per mille of alcohol in her blood on Thursday around 4 a.m. when she drove her car in the Neukirchen district of Aigen. The car left the road, hit several trees and came to rest on its roof.
The 40-year-old from the Schärding district was heavily drunk with 1.68 per mille when she drove off the road around 4 a.m. in Neukirchen/Walde. Particularly tragic: her 7-year-old son, her 10-year-old daughter and a 13-year-old girl were also in the car.
Army of guardian angels
The occupants of the car were extremely lucky, because an entire army of guardian angels must have been out and about in the Hausruckviertel that night. Miraculously, everyone escaped the fright and was able to free themselves from the wreckage.
