Date:

A dog taken along fell during a climbing trip in Italy. The rope team then had to be rescued by the mountain rescue team. The owner is now coming under heavy criticism.

It is unclear why the woman took her dog with her on this dangerous journey through Italy. A group of six mountaineers had attempted the challenging ice climbing trek to Punta Venezia in the Cottian Alps in the border region between France and Italy when the accident happened at an altitude of 3,000 metres.

Owner had panic attack
A mountain climber’s dog fell down the mountain at a 45-degree slope. The dramatic scene caused the owner to have a panic attack, after which the group could no longer continue.

The mountain rescue team had to rescue all participants by helicopter. A subsequent search for the dog turned up nothing. Meanwhile, criticism of pet owners is increasing. However, it is still unclear who will pay for the rescue operation.
