In the scandal surrounding racist chants for Gigi D’Agostino’s famous party hit, an incriminating video from Lower Austria has now emerged: during the carnival parade in Mödling the slogan “Foreigners out!” shouted to the tune of “L’amour toujours”.
Last week, a video was made public that caused a stir across Europe: On the German North Sea island of Sylt, scores of local guests celebrated the popular party hit “L’amour toujours” by Italian artist Gigi D’Agostino – and shouted Nazi slogans such as ‘ Germany the Germans’ and ‘Foreigners out’.
A few days later, a video from Carinthia appeared on social media with very similar scenes. The Carinthian state police have started an investigation.

Investigations are now also underway in Lower Austria. The reason for this is a video that was recorded on a fairground float in Mödling in February. Here too, racist shouts were heard to the sounds of “L’Amour toujours”.
Officials from the State Bureau for State Security and Combating Extremism are now looking into the case. It is checked whether there is a relevant fact. If necessary, according to police spokesperson Johann Baumschlager, the investigation steps will be referred to the responsible public prosecutor’s office.
