Parents relieved – Missing Styrian Ilvy (13) is back home!

Date:

It was probably the worst week for Ilvy’s family: the 13-year-old West Styrian girl from Rosental an der Kainach had been missing since May 24. Half the country was looking for the teenager. Now Ilvy is back home!

‘She’s back home’ – Ilvy’s mother sounds relieved, but in her voice you can still hear the worries that have tormented her the past week. Ilvy went to a friend’s house on Friday, May 24. But she knew nothing about it. The mother reported the incident to the police on Friday evening. “But nothing, just nothing,” the parents assured the ‘Krone’, “pointing to a tragedy on Friday.”

The family looked for the young man with her photo and turned to the audience. Parents and grandparents posted missing person reports at train stations. Thousands shared the call on social media.

On Saturday, the Facebook community “Austria finds you” finally announced the news: Ilvy is back home! “Our message to Ilvy and her family – all the best!” The joy is great.

Ilvy is physically fine, her mother can also confirm. She came home Friday evening. “I’m so relieved she’s here!” The West Styrian does not want to say anything more about her Ilvy’s homecoming at the moment.
