Shocking scenes took place on Monday afternoon in a residential complex in Bregenz: a woman from Vorarlberg is said to have pulled a gun, aimed at her son and threatened him. There was a large-scale police operation and the Cobra task force was also on the scene.
It must have been minutes of horror for the 18-year-old when his mother (47) pointed the gun at him and threatened with it. To protect himself from her, he barricaded himself in a room, according to the director’s initial information.

Immediately there was a large police presence and the Cobra task force was also called up. Several streets in the vicinity of the residential complex had to be closed. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident.
According to information, the mother would have volunteered after consultation with the police negotiators. It is not yet known what led to the altercation.
