A serious violent crime is currently shaking the German state of Saxony: three people are dead – according to police, their bodies were discovered on Monday morning in a single-family home in Tirpersdorf in Vogtland.
A 28-year-old woman alerted the police via an emergency call. A police spokeswoman said he admitted killing his family. The victims are an 85-year-old man, his 84-year-old wife and their 59-year-old daughter.
The police spokeswoman explained that all help came too late. The emergency services could only determine that the three people had died on the spot.
Particularly tragic: according to investigators, the 28-year-old is the grandson or son of the victims. He was arrested at the crime scene without resistance. The background to the gruesome act is still unclear.
