Major accident on Monday afternoon in Mieders (Innsbruck-Land district)! A wooden wall leaning against a building collapsed, hitting a local man (62). He had to be rescued and flown to the clinic by helicopter.

The tragic accident happened shortly after 5 p.m. A prefabricated wooden house wall fell down there for reasons that are still unclear. He leaned against a building and found the 62-year-old. The man was seriously injured and had to be rescued.

By helicopter to the hospital
After initial treatment on site, he was flown by rescue helicopter to the Innsbruck State Hospital. Further investigation into the accident will continue. The Mieders and Schönberg fire brigade, the rescue service, an emergency doctor and the rescue helicopter were present.
