The Mayor of Nuseirat, Iyad Al-Magharidied this Thursday along with four other people in an Israeli attack on a municipal building in the center of the Gaza Strip, hours after an action by Israeli warplanes left at least 40 deadmost of them at a UN Refugee Agency (UNRWA) school.
According to correspondents from the Palestinian news agency Wafa and Al Jazeera in the area, the mayor and the other four people were killed in the attack on the municipal building.
The Al Mayedeen portal also referred to the case and classified it as “martyrs” for those who lost their lives in the Israeli attack.
The attack on the building came hours after the deaths of at least 40 Gazans in a refugee camp in Nuseirat, most of them in an UNRWA school housing more than 500 displaced people.
Netanyahu will speak before the US Congress
