In the Angath-Langkampfen area, the A12 was hit by heavy rain, storm and hail between road kilometers 6 and 14.4. “The Inntal highway was heavily polluted on this section. Leaves and branches and several trees fell on the emergency lane and partly on the road,” the police said. Hail to a height of four inches fell at the Angath highway parking area.
An Asfinag snow plow had to remove the hail. The clean-up work lasted until approximately 10 p.m.
