As police announced, a 42-year-old local man is suspected of killing his 69-year-old mother in the apartment they shared on Sunday evening. “The crime was probably preceded by a dispute between the two,” it said. The suspect was heavily intoxicated. He was immediately arrested.
Violence as a cause of death
When questioned Monday afternoon, the man made no confession. He said he went to sleep and found his mother dead. The police investigation – including any leads – continued.
