In Greece and Turkey, heat waves are expected to bring local temperatures up to 45 degrees from Tuesday. Meteorologists are talking about unusually high temperatures for this time of year, which are expected to last at least until Thursday.
Central Greece, the Peloponnese peninsula, the Cyclades and Crete, but also western Turkey are affected.
