Injured at rodeo – bull jumped and barrier and chased spectators

Date:

Visitors to the American state of Oregon will probably not soon forget this rodeo tournament. During the event, a bull suddenly jumped over the arena’s security barrier and chased spectators and participants. There were several injured.

Apparently the cop called ‘Party Bus’ had had enough of being chased. Saturday night, during the 84th Sisters Rodeo, he decided to jump the ring’s safety fence and do a little hunting himself. Eyewitnesses recorded the outbreak. In the recordings you hear the warning ‘There is a bull outside’, and moments later you see visitors and participants fleeing from the attacking animal. Some did not survive and were rammed by the bull or thrown through the air, as seen in the video above.

Four people injured
According to US media, four people were injured, but all were released to home care after hospital treatment. The animal, which was quickly recaptured, was reportedly unharmed.

Organizers told NBC News that an incident like this had never occurred at the Sisters Rodeo. The five-day event went ahead as planned on Sunday.
