Incredible act in Berlin: A 21-month-old girl was allegedly thrown from the third floor of an apartment building into a cat transport box on Monday – probably by her own mother. Passersby found the wailing toddler. Now the homicide squad is investigating.
After the child was found, the rescue chain was immediately initiated. The girl was treated at the scene and then taken to a hospital. Despite the fall from a height of about 11 meters, the child’s life is not in danger, but according to the newspaper “Bild” the little one’s arms and legs are said to be broken.
The homicide unit has taken over the investigation. According to media reports, the child’s mother is still being questioned; she and another child were found in the third-floor apartment. The second child is now in the care of youth care.
