A group of about ten young people attacked and robbed three men, all with a migrant background, at Bischofshofen train station on Sunday evening. A young man (21) was so badly injured in his head by kicks and punches that the emergency doctor had to put him into an artificial deep sleep.
The 21-year-old Kosovar suffered serious head injuries due to kicks and punches. After the attack, the unconscious man had his wallet stolen. The other two victims were slightly injured.
The perpetrators were able to escape unnoticed and the investigation is still ongoing. The seriously injured man was flown to hospital in Salzburg.
The young perpetrators attacked the three young men on a train platform for a yet unknown reason. A passenger provided first aid to the seriously injured person until the Red Cross and rescue helicopter arrived. The other two victims escaped with minor injuries.
