Rent not paid – apartment with 10 tons of soil converted into medicine plantation

Date:

Because the rent on an apartment he had rented had not been paid, a landlord in the British capital London called in the police – and then he almost received a blow…

“Oh my God” – those were the words of the British Charles Reeves when he was finally allowed to enter his rented apartment again. Without knowing it, a professional cannabis farmer had moved into the four walls and converted the apartment into a medicine plantation.

When he failed to pay his rent, Reeves, who was in the US for work reasons, called the police. Only after a court order was the owner able to return to the London apartment and to his surprise he saw ten tons of dirt in the living room.

400 cannabis plants have been seized
In addition, the apartment was full of holes where cables had been pulled through and there was a pungent odor of marijuana. The alerted police were able to confiscate 400 flowering cannabis plants with a street value of several hundred thousand euros.

The Brit also discovered an extensive system with fans, lamps and a ventilation system. The illegal hemp farmer had also rewired the electrical system to light the hemp facility without loading the electricity meter. According to police in London, there has been a significant increase in these types of crimes.
