Fatal recreational accident Tuesday in the Tyrolean lowlands: Shortly after take-off in Westendorf (Kitzbühel district), a 69-year-old paraglider fell into the depths and suffered serious injuries.
The 69-year-old German flew his paraglider from the launch site on the Choralpe in Westendorf around noon. Shortly after take-off, the pilot probably lost control: he fell from a height of about 20 meters.
