At around 10:20 a.m., a 43-year-old German was riding a bus in the bus stop area of ​​Innsbruck Central Station. At the same time, a homeless 58-year-old Austrian was staying there.

According to witness statements, the man, who appeared to be drunk, stood up and stumbled to the back of the bus just as the bus passed him.

The police are looking for witnesses
“The 58-year-old fell under the bus in a previously unknown manner and sustained serious injuries to his left arm,” police said. The bus driver, who had not noticed the accident himself, was informed by passers-by.

The seriously injured had to be taken to the clinic after emergency medical treatment at the scene of the accident. “A breathalyzer test on the bus driver was negative,” according to the investigators, who are now looking for witnesses to the accident (059133/7591100).
