Two 14-year-old boys with a migrant background had to answer to the regional court in Feldkirch on Monday.
On Monday, two different trials with two different suspects took place in Feldkirch. The subject: violence. The perpetrators: young people. The first case involves a 14-year-old Syrian who had to answer for dangerous threats and theft. In February, the previously innocent man got into a fight with the parents of his girlfriend, who lived in the Unterland, because she kept sending him money in secret. When the student stole 15 euros from the unlocked car of his girlfriend’s parents, a scandal broke out in an “enlightening conversation”.
So the baby threatened to hit the father. He made it clear to his mother: “I’m destroying the family!” The parents then filed a complaint. During the trial on Monday, the “loudmouth” suddenly seemed gentle.
The case is being handled in a diversionary manner due to the suspect’s impeccability and the damages that were eventually paid. The Syrian must now perform 25 hours of community service.

In the second case, the 14-year-old suspect also gets away with a community service order of 25 hours. The high school student had pleaded guilty because he had first threatened to ‘stab’ a classmate several times in April and finally cut his arm with a pair of scissors. The motive is unclear. As in the first case, the final word from judge Martin Mitteregger was: ‘The holidays are almost here. Make sure you complete your social hours on time. Then you can fully concentrate on the new school year.’
