He staged himself in the media as “Salzburg’s brothel king”. Many celebrities were guests in his Roma Club on Bayerhamerstrasse in the 1990s. Shortly before the turn of the millennium, Felix P. left for Brazil. The brothel owner is said to have smuggled six million euros past the tax authorities. In his absence, P. was sentenced to six months in prison and a fine of 1.8 million euros.
The verdict has been final since 2005. That did not bother the former brothel boss. He enjoyed his life in South America. The brothel king once sent ‘greetings’ to the tax authorities through the media. According to his own statements, P. worked as a car dealer in Brazil. According to research by “Krone”, the man from Salzburg would also have worked in his new home in the red light district. P. has always vehemently denied that his tax debts amounted to millions.
Police arrested P. at Schwechat Airport
The hands of the domestic judiciary were tied – even though a request for mutual legal assistance had been made to Brazil. And yet P. has been in Puch-Urstein Prison for a few weeks. At the beginning of February, the ex-brothel king voluntarily returned to Austria. The police promptly arrested P. at the Vienna-Schwechat airport.
After serving his sentence, the man from Salzburg is a free man again. According to the Salzburg court, the fine of 1.8 million euros is still outstanding.
