His parents caught him in Feldbach (Styria) having sex in the children’s room – next to his sleeping siblings. An 18-year-old apparently wanted revenge for this. He grabbed a stiletto and stabbed his father. “This is the end of you,” the Ukrainian is said to have said as he rammed the knife twice into the 39-year-old’s back. He barely survived.
On the day of the crime, the 18-year-old first went to his girlfriend’s birthday party, where he drank alcohol. At night, he returned home with the girl. His mother had left the patio door of the children’s room, where he lives with his siblings, open for him.
Sex in the nursery under the covers
The two got into bed and had sex under the covers, according to the indictment by the Graz public prosecutor. The 18-year-old’s little brothers and sisters then woke up and called loudly for their mother. The 38-year-old entered the room, saw what her son was doing there and walked out again in shock.
Because his wife wouldn’t tell him what was going on, the young Ukrainian’s father also entered the children’s room and saw his son lying naked on top of his girlfriend. An argument broke out and the 39-year-old Ukrainian demanded that the couple leave the apartment immediately. The 18-year-old then lunged at his father and hit him with his fists.
Son wanted revenge
After the student supposedly calmed down, the father went to the bathroom. The son left his room through the patio door. But not to disappear as his father had ordered. The 18-year-old walked around the house and went back in through the apartment door: he wanted revenge.
“Don’t do it,” his mother shouted at him, but it was too late. He stabbed his father, who was standing by the sink, twice in the back with a switchblade. With difficulty, the 39-year-old managed to fend off the third, probably fatal stab, and throw his son and wife out of the apartment.
Next week, the 18-year-old, who allowed himself to be arrested without resistance after the bloody crime, will have to answer to a jury in Graz for the attempted murder of his father.
