With the FreeBuds 6i, Huawei has launched the latest generation of its true wireless in-ears with active noise cancellation at a relatively affordable price. Krone+ reveals what the ‘bargain plugs’ do better than their predecessors – and what they unfortunately don’t.
Like their predecessors, the FreeBuds 6i come in a charging case that’s just a few centimeters in size and can easily be stored in your pocket, and its shape is reminiscent of a hand-flattering pebble. However, Huawei has said goodbye to the small color speckles that characterized the FreeBuds 5i and once again relies on a uniform chassis, which, in addition to the matte black version we tested, also comes in a high-gloss white and a pale purple.
